There is an old story about an expert technician called to a plant after everything suddenly stops working.

After hours of unsuccessful troubleshooting, the technician arrives, studies the equipment, opens an electrical box, and turns a single screw. The plant immediately comes back to life.

Her bill: $10,000.

The head of operations balks. She was there only a few minutes. All she did was turn one screw. How could that possibly justify a $10,000 fee?

So he asks for an itemized bill.

She writes:

Turning the screw: $1
Knowing which screw to turn: $9,999

It is a simple story, but the point is a good one.
